The ancient traditions of yoga and tantra provide invaluable tools and precious insights for resolving the challenges that most of us face today. These are the practices––yoga nidra, asana, bandha, pranayama, mudra, and the steps that steer us to the highest stages of meditation––that lead to greater resilience, the dissolution of fragmentation and fear, unsurpassed calm, and connection.

Unfortunately there are so few authoritative resources that show us how these practices work together and how to approach them systematically. This is why the ancient scripture, the Yoga Taravali, is such an exceptional guide and companion for anyone who practices (or teaches) yoga, no matter their level.

Taravali means “multitude of stars” and the aim of this text is to highlight the brightest points of light of yogic and tantric techniques.

Join us. Over the course of this immersive weekend, master teacher Rod Stryker will describe the key milestones of these practices outlined in this extraordinary text. Most importantly, he will guide you into experiences that will touch your heart and illumine your mind. As you are led into each of the distinct practices outlined in the Taravali’s 29 verses, you will gain an understanding of the journey (beginning, middle and end) of practice. Saturday will focus on the first half of the text to set the foundation. On Sunday we will build on it and turn toward the full flowering of tantra and yoga. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to learn and experience some of the Yoga tradition’s most profound techniques to access healing and self-awareness.

Both days will feature Yoga Nidra (the healing power of conscious dreamless sleep), asana, bandha and mudra (to renew your vital force). You will touch sahaja samadhi (the vast pool of inner joy) as well as anusandhana (abiding in soul).
